The Youth Empowerment Program is a part of Our DNC Project Green Lung; To promote reforestation and the planting of trees within the communities in Sinasina Younggumugl District and other districts, we sponsored Dikasuna Park rangers to compete in the 2022 Dinga Rugby League competition.

Youths are the most frustrated group of young people in the community and so Dikasuna is taking this initiative to empower them through sports and redirect them to embrace the value of tree planting and sustainable living.

Awareness Campaigns: We aim to launch an awareness campaign across multiple channels, including social media, print media, and local radio, to promote sustainable living practices and educate the public about the impact of human activities on the environment.

TAKING PART IN THE DINGA RUGBY FOOTBALL - 2022 LEAGUE

At Dikasuna Nature Conservation, we have already established a social media account to share updates on our efforts to protect our natural heritage. We have also designed shirts and collaborated with local youths to promote our cause through rugby league games. Our team, the Dikasuna Park Rangers, runs in with a tree to be planted during the opening of each game. In 2022, we conducted numerous campaigns, engaging with a large crowd in Sinasina-Yongomugl and throughout Simbu Province. We will continue to utilize these awareness-raising efforts to inspire more people to support our mission of environmental preservation during this World Environment Day.
